The founding partner and CEO of Avionté, John facilitates sales, marketing, finances, strategic partnerships, and business development. John has extensive knowledge of the staffing industry, beginning with four years at Paychex, where he developed an in-depth understanding of back office functions, particularly payroll software processes. Then, as TempWork's second employee, John spent seven years developing his staffing industry knowledge doing implementation, training, and conversions. He eventually became Vice President of Sales and then President of TempWorks. John later joined eEmpACT as Vice President of Sales and became Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for creating the Account Management Division and managing support. John's ability to empathize with staffing software users and fully comprehend their needs is a direct result of his hands-on involvement at every level. His passion and enthusiasm to create a better software solution for the staffing industry is the driving force behind Avionté today. John holds degrees from St. Olaf College in math, computer science, and statistics.

As CTO and Partner of Avionté, Phi continually embraces the latest in technology and industry trends, while maintaining the integrity of the core product customers depend on. Working closely with customers, he combines his staffing industry experience with the requests and needs of the client to guide Avionté's development. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with degrees in computer science and engineering, Phi joined start-up biomedical company Minnetronix, where he worked on GUI development and IT network administration. He then worked for TempWorks doing implementation, conversions, project management, and software development. As one of the most Sr. Analysts at TempWorks, Phi was routinely given the most challenging implementations, relying on his technical skills as well as his interpersonal skills and unflappable attitude.

As Partner and COO of Avionté, Sandeep is responsible for applying the technology and resources to the business world. This includes, but certainly is not limited to, providing leadership to software implementations and staffing software solution design. Originally from Nepal, Sandeep moved to the United States to study business computer information systems and marketing. In 1999 Sandeep joined TempWorks, where he worked his way up from Help Desk Analyst to an Implementation Specialist, then Senior Project Manager, and finally Director of Consulting Services. Sandeep's primary focus is managing Avionté's Outsourcing division in Nepal, where he has hired a large team of full-time developers. The Outsourcing division not only provides development assistance on the core software product, but also does a significant amount of web site development and standard BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services. Sandeep now spends time in both Nepal and Minnesota.

As Chief Software Architect and Partner, Samar is responsible for the quality, design, and development of Avionté Software. He manages a team of software professionals in the United States and coordinates the development effort abroad. In addition, Samar shares responsibilities in marketing and business development. Those who know Samar appreciate his unwavering patience, even in the midst of seemingly stressful situations, as well as his dedication and willingness to give the extra time and energy needed to get a job done correctly. Samar grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal, and now lives in Minnesota. He earned a bachelor's degree in statistics with a minor in information systems from St. Cloud State University. Prior to joining Avionté, he worked at TempWorks Software. As Senior Software Analyst for TempWorks, he developed an in-depth knowledge of ERP systems specific to the staffing industry.

Matt is one of the staffing industry's most tenured, knowledgeable staffing software specialists. His ability to successfully bring staffing firms and technology solutions together is credited to his impressive understanding of how staffing firms operate. His commitment to the staffing industry and its executives is apparent in his efforts to identify client needs. Before joining Avionté, Matt held positions with fellow staffing industry software suppliers. He was the Executive Vice President of Sales for TempWorks Software for six plus years, and before that worked in sales for VCG Software for over three years. At Avionté, Matt plays a central role in initiating relationships that evolve into long-term client partnerships. He guides staffing executives to solutions that will best serve their company's business interests, today and in the future.

Jason joined Avionté as a Corporate Trainer in January of 2009, where he was responsible for all new client training and development efforts. In July of 2009, Jason transitioned his knowledge of both the staffing industry and the Avionté technology into his current position as VP of Sales – West. Prior to joining Avionté, Jason held a position at Ecolab in the Training and Development department where he assisted and delivered sales and leadership seminars. Jason Graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Organizational Communications and Business Management. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of St. Thomas. When he’s not working or going to school, Jason is enjoying time with his wife and daughter, golfing or playing baseball.

Not only does Mike bring value to each of the staffing firms he’s working with, but his energy and easy going attitude make the experience enjoyable as well.

As Director of Marketing, Brenda is responsible for directing the company’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs as well as building and maintaining client relationships. In her marketing role, she works to create the overall image of Avionté, create brand awareness throughout the staffing industry, form partnerships and generate new sales opportunities. She also works to develop the relationships Avionté has with its current clients by identifying opportunities to bring greater value to Avionté clients through communication, product reviews, 3rd party integrations and product enhancements. Throughout her time at Avionté along with 10 prior years at a competing staffing software company, Brenda has developed a deep understanding of the staffing industry through her experiences of working in all aspects of the business such as HR, Support, Sales, Project Planning and Marketing. For over a decade, Brenda has been intimately involved with numerous state and national staffing & recruiting organizations building awareness, networking and forming partnerships throughout the industry.

Laura enthusiastically leads the Customer Care and Training departments. She is a seasoned consultant and instructor with broad-based business skills developed over her more than 17 years of experience in a variety of industries and roles as well as the ability to communicate in French. She takes the time to understand the business needs and goals of all clients she serves to ensure the highest level of efficiency and productivity. Laura loves working with people at all levels in an organization as well as with users at all levels of computer literacy. She is a problem solver and results oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Laura strives to ensure that every user can become a power user of Avionté and works to bring clients’ ideas and needs together with our development team’s goals and innovations.

Angela has been dedicated to the Staffing Industry for over a decade and brings with her a depth of experience that provides both Avionté clients and prospects a valuable resource for staffing and technology related information. Angela spent 8 years as Manager for LC Staffing in Montana and was most recently the Corporate Recruiter for a publicly traded real estate investment firm. In addition to a broad knowledge base of staffing, she is also well versed in several areas of HR and currently holds her PHR. Angela works with both the sales and marketing teams in identifying new prospects through a variety of methods including social media. She is involved in our day to day web presence and always looking for new ways to introduce Avionté to staffing and recruiting companies. Angela has a degree from Montana State-Billings in Management and Communications and holds an MBA from Western Governors University.

Corey joined the Avionté team in May of 2011 as Support Manager. He brought with him a unique set of talents after serving as the Vice President/General Manager for CCI and The Merchandising Team, a reputable Twin Cities staffing and retail service firm, since 2002. Having been on the client side for so long, Corey has an extraordinary perspective into the dynamic challenges and issues facing the staffing industry today. As the new Support Manager for Avionté, he manages the client support team and is responsible for driving the highest levels of satisfaction and problem-solving capabilities for our clients. Corey attended the University of Minnesota and lives in Eagan with his wife and their three sons. In his little free time, he enjoys golfing and playing hockey.
