By simply scanning a QR code, candidates could download the app and instantly connect with your business to search for jobs, apply, and complete the hiring process—all with just a few taps.
This demo illustrated how mobile technology enhances engagement by enabling agencies to connect with job seekers wherever they are, delivering an intuitive, brand-enhancing experience. It showcased how effortlessly job seekers can transition from scanning a QR code to landing a job—all from their phones. This seamless process creates a competitive candidate experience that can help grow your talent pool while fostering loyalty to your business.
Beyond mobile, Avionté has made significant strides this year in advancing technology that underscores our commitment to building a truly end-to-end system, designed to support the entire staffing experience for talent, recruiters, and employers.
Since acquiring SimpleVMS—the first significant merger of an end-to-end ATS with a VMS in North America—we’ve successfully integrated their vendor-friendly VMS with Avionté’s front-office platform connected to our mobile talent enablement tools, for a more streamlined recruiter, employer, and candidate experience. We continue to expand integration points, enhancing functionality and efficiency for our staffing partners.
At the event, the SimpleVMS team showcased their powerful VMS platform. Among the highlights was the unveiling of their new AI Photo Time feature. Featured in the “2024 Top Trending Technology Tools You Should Have in Your Tech Stack” session at Staffing World, this tool integrates effortlessly into the SimpleVMS timekeeping system—at no additional cost—allowing agencies and clients to view employee photo punches for enhanced verification.
So, how does it work? When an employee first clocks in, the system captures their picture and compares any new images against it. It then provides a rating indicating the likelihood of the person being the same, allowing cases that aren’t 100% certain to be flagged for review. The system also learns and adapts to changes in an individual’s appearance, such as when an employee shaves a beard or starts wearing glasses.
Powered by artificial intelligence, this feature confirms employee identities, preventing issues like buddy punching and time theft, all while staying fully compliant with biometric laws and regulations.
All these advancements demonstrate how Avionté and SimpleVMS are working together to help staffing agencies stay ahead, streamline their operations, and tackle industry challenges with confidence.
To further show our appreciation for our incredible staffing agency clients, Avionté hosted a memorable, invitation-only cocktail party on the Lookout Rooftop at Ole Red, along with our partners Ringover and Sense, during Staffing World.
With Nashville’s lively downtown as the backdrop, guests enjoyed a beautiful night of rooftop fun, great conversation, and networking. Live music brought the energy, sparking laughter, dancing, and an evening filled with camaraderie as we celebrated our clients and the future of staffing!
While celebrating our clients and partners was a highlight, Avionté also embraced the spirit of giving back at Staffing World. We had the “pawsome” honor of sponsoring the ASA Cares Pawvana event, benefiting Wags & Walks Nashville. Attendees got their puppy fix while supporting a fantastic cause—donating for the chance to cuddle with some seriously adorable foster pups. Not only did we all get to enjoy the tail wags and belly rubs, but we also helped raise nearly [insert amount] to give these pups a shot at finding their forever homes!
Our involvement in community initiatives didn’t stop there. Avionté also supported the Backpack Kits Initiative, which helped assemble around 200 self-care kits for homeless students in the Nashville area, in partnership with the Metro Nashville Public Schools’ Homeless Education Resource Office (HERO) program.
These two events showcased the strong commitment staffing agencies have to give back, serving as a powerful reminder of the broader impact our industry can have—not just in staffing but also in supporting the communities we serve.
