Week 45 was a slightly positive bounce back week from last week, led by Assignments posting a robust 2.4% gain. The other major indices were positive, but only slightly so.
This week’s staffing industry statistics: Week 45
With the strong Assignments week, now all major indices are at least 10% more than pre-COVID! I continue to be concerned about a slow down from our amazingly consistent and strong recovery. In looking at the 4 week rolling average for Assignments and Hours – these last two weeks are the lowest since the recovery began. I do feel that the pace we were on was surreal – and anything that averages 3.6% and 2.0% growth in a month is still pretty darn good. I was expecting that we’ll continue to see these moderate gains for the next several months.
