Week 9 was a strong bounce back week over the shortened week 8. Instead of comparing to last week, let’s focus on YTD numbers. For all the major categories, we are in positive YTD territory, with the notable exception of New Talent. The positivity is led by Assignments, with a robust 5.6% increase for the first 2 months of 2021.

Probably showing my jaded side, but I still believe the New Talent metric supports a relative indifference for talent that is current unemployed.
Also note below that our 2021 Assignment numbers are closing in on 2018 numbers – which just hadn’t happened!
