10th Annual Avionté CONNECT Staffing & Recruiting User Conference Day Two Recap

Day two of the 10th annual CONNECT staffing and recruiting conference is officially in the books!  

The day started off with a power breakfast followed by an awe-inspiring keynote from Judson Laipply titled, “Empowering Boldness.”  

For those unfamiliar, Judson is the creator behind one of Youtube’s first viral videos, “The Evolution of Dance,” but he’s so much more than a Youtube celebrity who’s got some serious dance moves. 

Judson is a seasoned motivational speaker, comedian and entertainer all rolled into one package. His keynote was aimed to help attendees discover how to replace their fears with boldness and make their goals a reality.  

Judson was full of jokes, relatable life experiences and sound advice to help attendees embrace their struggles and replace them with boldness. He also performed an updated version of his world-famous evolution of dance performance. 

After entertaining the audience, Judson left the listeners with this inspirational quote that perfectly summed up his presentation: 

“May your struggles be many. May your growth be exponential. And may you never stop evolving because that is the meaning to life.” 

After Judson’s empowering keynote, a panel that included a few of the brightest minds from the staffing and recruiting world got together to discuss some of the biggest challenges facing the industry and practical ways how to solve those challenges. 

A few of the challenges addressed were: 

• How to fill job orders faster 
• How technology can find the right talent the first time 
• High turnover rates and how to realistically lower them 

Next up was the first chain of breakout sessions. CONNECT attendees had 11 unique product and training sessions to attend over the day including: 

Data Drill-Down: Reporting & BI – Covered the who, what, when, and how of the reporting and BI in the AviontéBOLD solution. 

Employee Onboarding on the GO – Demonstrated how fast the new onboarding features are on AviontéBOLD. 

Going Paperless with E-Signature Documents powered by Adobe Sign – Walked through how to implement Adobe Sign in the onboarding process as well as showed how to build custom e-signature documents.  

After the morning’s breakout sessions, attendees enjoyed an hour break for lunch, networking and caffeine. After lunch, breakout sessions resumed and included several noteworthy sessions including:  

Best Practices for Back Office Reporting – Best practices for back office processes for accurate reporting 

Data Privacy and Reporting – Walked through Avionté’s security measures as well as the tools Avionté uses internally to increase cyber security. 

Transitioning to AviontéBOLD – Covered what the transition process entails, when clients should transition based on their unique roadmaps. 

The final day of CONNECT ended with an evening event at the 7th Street Truck Park where attendees got to enjoy delicious grub from food trucks, try out local craft beers and dance to an eccentric cover band – all in one laid-back environment.
