We are excited to announce that we have made this year’s Community Impact Awards finalist list, released by Minnesota Business Magazine! The Awards honor Minnesota-based businesses, social enterprise organizations, nonprofits, initiatives and individuals making a significant impact on communities in Minnesota.
Avionté has placed as a finalist in the “Best in Class: Midsize Company“ category for its Hope Foundation, a non-profit arm of the recruiting and staffing software company that has been serving the local community since early 2012 through financial giving and volunteering.
With the overhead mission of “touching lives and driving change”, the foundation has made a significant impact with organizations demonstrating a drive to help people help themselves. Avionté has worked with over 40 local organizations with a variety of focuses, with a lenience towards those supporting homelessness, social services, education and rehabilitation support.
The Avionté Hope Foundation (AHF) has donated nearly $200,000 since its beginning and Avionté employees have volunteered over 2,500 hours via company-given “Hope Days”. Winners of each category will be announced at a February 23, 2017, celebration to be held at Aria in Minneapolis. Stay tuned!
