The Avionté Hope Foundation – Nepal Fundraising campaign we set up one month ago on Indiegogo was a huge success. We not only met our goal; we surpassed it!
At the end of our 30-day campaign for the Avionte Nepal team on May 28th, we’ve raised $10,324 USD from a total of 63 donations!
We want to thank all of our recruiting and staffing software clients and partners, employees and friends who gave to our campaign, helped spread the word, and sent our team kind words all along the way.
According to members of our Nepal team, the earthquake and its aftershocks have completely damaged 1,43,673 houses and partially damaged 1,60,786 homes. They destroyed nearly 5,000 schools, and left 1,40,000 children homeless.
The Avionte Hope team in Nepal will always have a priority focus of helping kids and schools. The funds raised on the site will be used to help restore the nearly 90 percent of schools in the impacted areas that have been destroyed by the earthquakes and aftershocks.
