It has been a big year for the nonprofit arm of Avionté, their “Hope Foundation”. So far this year, nearly $30,000 has been donated locally and employees have given over 200 hours of volunteer time! It’s been great seeing employees step up to volunteer locally and to participate in our supply drives held in the office throughout the year.
This year our employees have volunteered with a variety of organizations, including: Habitat for Humanity, DARTS, Meals on Wheels, Adopt a Greenway, The Link, Ronald McDonald House, the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital, Feed My Starving Children, Junior Achievement, Options for Women-East and so many other organizations (it’s hard to list them all!).
Avionté has donated to and sponsored events put on by Partners for Success, Options for Women-East, The Link, Pets Loyal 2 Vets, Great Dane Rescue of MN and WI and many others.
In October, Avionté received national recognition for its CSR efforts, receiving an Honorable Mention for the American Staffing Association’s ASA Care Award. The ASA Care Award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives among ASA member staffing firms, associate members (staffing industry suppliers), and regional councils and affiliated chapters. We are excited to be making a noticeable difference in our community!
