E-Verify is a reliable and in many states, mandatory method of determining if candidates are eligible to work in the United States. But when you work with a large volume of candidates, inputting data can become a tedious and cumbersome task.
While many employers have grown accustomed to manually processing I-9 forms, E-Verify is a substantially more reliable method of assessing employment eligibility. The system is secure and available 24 hours a day and even includes photo-matching technology to reduce the chance of document fraud.
Simply gathering information from an employee-completed I-9 form and inputting it into the E-Verify website may seem easy enough – until you take into account the large number of candidates you work with on a daily basis.
