Minnesota staffing software provider Avionté is a company that is heavily involved in the local community and continually increases its involvement as the years go on.
From its strong partnership with local, Minneapolis-based organizations The Link and DARTS, to all it does to get its employees involved in volunteering and in-office drives, Avionté aims to inspire Minnesotans to get out and make a difference.
The Avionté Hope Foundation’s main mission is to “help people help themselves”, and the company partners with local non-profits that are working to do the same.
Here are five Avionté CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives that the company and its employees have been involved with so far this year.
1. Sponsorship of The Link’s Annual Gala
The Link, a non-profit in Minneapolis that deals with teen homelessness and sex trafficking issues in the state, throws an annual Gala to raise money for their needs. Avionté was a sponsor of this year’s Gala, which was extremely moving. Avionté has been involved with The Link on a number of initiatives and is currently holding a household supplies drive at the office in Eagan.
2. Sponsorship of The Habitat for Humanity Gala
Avionté sponsored the annual Habitat for Humanity Twin Cities Gala, which took place in late Spring. The event raised over 1 million dollars! Avionté employees will be sending 1 week volunteering with the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to help build a home in late summer.
3. A Drive For High School Prom Attire
Avionté played a large part in making Prom happen for students wanting to attend Prom from Como Park Senior High School and Edison High School. Not only did Avionté employees bring nearly 500 items in for the drive, but several business in the community also jumped in to help without hesitation – to donate dresses, clutches, jewelry and more.
4. A Growing Relationship With DARTS
Avionté employees have also spent a significant amount of time volunteering with DARTS and the Avionté Hope Foundation proudly partners with DARTS, a community-based non-profit that connects seniors to services and partnerships that improves their quality of life, helps them age well, and enables them to engage in their community. Avionté recently donated $1,455 that will provide them with lawn maintenance equipment and services to local seniors.
5. Another Successful Blood Drive at Avionté
We also host Red Cross blood drives three times a year, the first of which happened earlier this month. We host the Red Cross buses at the office so employees have an easy way to give blood, without even having to leave the office. Nearly 25 employees donated blood at our last blood drive and we hosted a Bloody Mary bar on the Friday following to thank them for their donation.
