Each year, we engage with clients, partners, and prospects at our BOLD booth, discussing staffing trends, future plans, and our unwavering dedication to providing the most innovative staffing software on the market. Despite ongoing talent challenges and significant societal and technological changes, it’s always inspiring to see staffing leaders embracing the future with continued enthusiasm and optimism!
This year, Avionté was thrilled to be joined by two additional Avionté companies, WorkN, a top-tier mobile staffing platform, and SimpleVMS, a VMS (Vendor Management System) solution provider specifically tailored to streamline all aspects of managing a contingent workforce, saving time while reducing workforce management expenses. While Staffing World has always held a special place in our hearts, this year marked an extraordinary milestone with the recent acquisition of SimpleVMS.
Avionté announced this groundbreaking acquisition at our annual CONNECT conference in August of this year, marking the first significant merger of an end-to-end ATS (Applicant Tracking System) with a VMS in North America. This merger will seamlessly integrate a powerful VMS solution with our end-to-end ATS software and our mobile talent enablement solution powered by WorkN, advancing our mission to build frictionless staffing from the employer, to agency, to talent, and back!

To highlight these innovative partnerships, both WorkN and SimpleVMS had booths at the event, with representatives eager to engage in discussions about their solutions with existing and prospective customers. Rob Geist, Director of Sales at SimpleVMS, delivered a Staffing World Tech Talk addressing the misconception that many staffing professionals often have about using a VMS solution. He emphasized that the increasing reliance of many employers on a highly scalable temporary workforce has presented both opportunities and challenges in managing business operations. To meet these demands, a well-suited VMS tailored to effectively manage temporary labor, can transform staffing agencies into strategic partners, enabling them to better meet their customers’ needs by building reliable candidate pools that align with their employer clients’ business objectives.
In addition to this important conversation, our Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Christopher Ryan, also led a pivotal discussion on how new and emerging staffing technologies will transform recruiters into distinct specialized roles within technology-driven staffing companies, creating exciting career opportunities for future staffing professionals. The session aimed to help participants understand the impact of artificial intelligence, mobile technology, and digital transformation on creating valuable specialist positions in recruitment, identify the essential skills needed for transitioning into high-value recruiting roles, and learn the proactive steps that can be taken now to prepare for these upcoming opportunities.
Both discussions were designed to show that successful agencies and recruiters should not fear the inevitable changes driven by technology but rather embrace a future that will revolutionize their industry. This transformation will result in seamless experiences for recruiters, employer clients, and talent, and present fantastic opportunities for those who are ready for it!
Also notable was that more than 20 of Avionté’s integration partners were also exhibiting at Staffing World, showcasing the extent of Avionté’s reach and capabilities.
In addition to all the great conversations and insights shared, Avionté proudly joined hands – and paws – with ASA Cares, sponsoring Pawvana, which aimed to benefit the South Charlotte Dog Rescue. Attendees generously made donations for the chance to play with adorable foster puppies – raising nearly $2,000 for this important organization.
Avionté also contributed to another meaningful charity event during the conference, supporting Hope For All, an organization that provides crucial support to the less fortunate in the Charlotte area. Attendees came together to assemble over 700 self-care kits for the homeless.
In addition, WorkN was once again a proud sponsor of Thrive, a pre-conference event that gathered female leaders in the staffing industry to share valuable lessons and effective growth strategies that have advanced their careers.
Staffing World 2023 was an enormous success, fueled by the dedication and enthusiasm of its participants.
